I have some free time for this project. My topic that I choose will affect this well. I think it will be not very difficult for me to manage myself and my time on my own. I can do several things about that such as make the time table or time management for that and use my time effectively.

What I Learned Today

Today in ESL class, I learned what compound, complex and run-on sentences are. The compound sentences are a sentence that more than one sentence put together with a joining word and usually two sentences are put together. For example, 'I studied Korean, and my friend studied English.' In this sentence, there are two subjects and predicates, so it is a compound sentence. The complex sentences are a sentence that an independent clause and a dependent clause joined together. 'I was playing the piano, but later, I stopped doing that.' This sentence an example of complex sentence. A sentence that is two or more sentences written as one sentence incorrectly are called run-on sentence. They go past the point where they should stop and are usually too long. For example, 'I did my homework, studied science, played drum but my sister wanted me to stop playing drum.' This sentence is too long and there are also some mistakes so it is a run-on sentence. I can fix this to 'I did my homework, studied science, and played drum. But my sister wanted me to stop playing drum.'

Things that stress me out


These are things that stress me out. I almost spend a day with school and lesson homework, work, test and study. There are also difficulty when I am doing those things. I hate worms, spider and cockroach because it's really creepy. I like movie but I don't like scary movie. Especially scene which is surprising me. I dislike people who is selfish or rude and they make me sooooo angry. Lastly, I really hate being starve, its the most important one.

My partner and I had several steps to make this movie. First, we looked for the steps what we should do and opened Dvolver website. That site is for making a movie which is like our movie and we made it by using that website. I have learned many things about adverbs. I knew that adverbs modifying verb, adjective and other adverb. For example as you can see in my movie, 'I was extremely hungry'. In this sentence, extremely is a adverb and it describe hungry which is another adjective. This movie helped me to learn about adverbs when I was making it. I had to make it accurately so my knowledge would be increase and clear also. I enjoyed this project because it was pair work and I worked with my friend. I think I was a good partner for my friend because I think I shared the work and responsibility well with my partner.

Me and My Music




I like to playing the piano very much. I learned it when I was 7 years old. My mom want me to learn to playing piano well. Few years later, I became like piano, and I'm close with piano now. I also had concerts in my piano lesson and school. If I have free time to do something, I usually play the piano in my room. I like the melody of piano.

ESL 8, Unit 1 Reflection: The Power of Words

My reflection is here.

First, I found the 3 photos in Flickr and I chose the best one. After I chose one, I used bighugelab site to make a poster. I filled in the details in the blank boxes, which needed in to the poster, and upload the picture that I have chosen. When I finished until there, I download the poster and saved it. Finally, I got the poster. My title of the movie is Cell Phone War. I chose it to my poster movie because our documentary is about negative impact of mobile phones. We are going to say mobile phone is toxic and poisonous. These are the reasons that I chose this title. It was a bit difficult to choose that title because I didn’t have any idea at that time. But later on, I had got a good idea of it. It was a bit difficult also at first, because I didn’t really know what should I write about but finally, I got it what should I write. My first tagline was ‘Do you love your phone?’ and second tagline was ‘Do your phone love the environment?’ I chose the first tagline because the people are love very much their phones now, and I want to say and ask that. Nowadays, the people using their phones generally in their life but I want to know that they know the phones hurt the environment or not. So I chose the second tagline. There is a phone in the picture which I chose for my documentary poster. The phone color is black and white, and background is orange. The phone is folder and it opened. I think keyboard is the main of it. I have some reasons that I chose that picture. The main reason is that the picture is almost fit with the phone and I though it would match well with black and white. So I make the writing black and white.

I think making blurb is the most difficult thing for me in this unit because I didn’t know how to write it but I knew now. When I did other things, I just had to listen to my teacher and do what she told me. The other things were not that much difficult for me accept the blurb thing. I think finding emotive languages were easy for me in this unit because I just could find the words with using thesaurus which is in a dictionary. I think the other things quite easy also. I like this unit because it was fresh and it really helps to our documentary which our group is doing in English class. And the teachers was also helping us. I think I was became a risk taker and thinker. It is because that I challenged and learned new things in this unit. It was quite fresh for me. And I should think and consider much and deeply in this unit.
